7th Puzzle

Qing Ming Jie, meaning Clear and Bright Festival, is a traditional Chinese holiday occurring around April 5th. It is a day to remember and honor one’s ancestors at grave sites. Qing Ming was frequently mentioned in Chinese literature. Among these, the most famous one is probably Du Fu’s poem:

Qing Ming shi jie yu fen fen
Lu shang xing ren yu duan hun
Jie wen jiu jia he chu you
Mu tong yao zhi xing hua cun.

And here’s the English translation:

A drizzling rain falls like tears on Mourning Day
The mourner’s heart is breaking on his way.
Where can a hostel be found to drown his sadness?
A cowherd points to Xin Hua village in the distance.
